Beside the midwivery we introduced a solution for the communication between healthcare providers. Because of the high rate of infant mortality in The Netherlands comparing to the rest of Europe the communication needs to improve rapidly. We developed Onatal PWD which provides a patient based medical file instead of a system based medical file. All healthcare providers read and work in the same medical file so all needed information is there, up to date and directly accessible.
